Monox is a tool that helps app founders prepare TikTok photo slideshows for their own TikTok accounts. This page explains what data Monox stores and why. Monox is operated by the owner of this instance.
Data we store
- Waitlist: if you join the waitlist, we store your email address to tell you when Monox opens. Joining does not create an account.
- Your account: email address and password hash, kept by our authentication provider (Supabase) so you can sign in.
- Your workspace content: the apps you describe, the public TikTok profiles you choose to watch, the public posts collected from those profiles (images, captions, public statistics), and the slideshows Monox generates for you.
- Connected TikTok accounts: when you connect a TikTok account through TikTok Login Kit, we store the account's open id, display name, username, avatar URL and the OAuth access and refresh tokens TikTok issues. Tokens are stored encrypted and are used only to upload the content you approved to that account's inbox and, later, to read the performance of posts you published.
- Operational logs: job history, errors and costs, so you can see what the system did.
How we use TikTok data
Data obtained through TikTok's APIs is used solely to provide the features you asked for: connecting your accounts, uploading drafts you approved to your own inbox, and showing you statistics of your own posts. We do not sell TikTok data, share it with third parties, or use it for advertising.
Third-party services
Monox uses Supabase (database, authentication, file storage), Apify (collection of public TikTok posts), OpenRouter (text and image generation) and TikTok's official APIs. Each processes data only as needed to provide the service.
Retention and deletion
You can disconnect a TikTok account at any time from the Accounts page; its tokens are deleted immediately and you can also revoke access from TikTok's own settings. Deleting an app, competitor or workspace deletes the related content. To delete your whole account, contact the operator of this instance.
